I am grateful for so many things in my life, but ultimately I’m grateful for all of the support I’ve had along the way. Not many people live a life with a support system as strong as I’ve always had, and despite the trials and errors life has thrown at me, particularly in the last few years, that support system has always been the reason I’ve succeeded.

Maybe one day I’ll write about my full story, but for now I’ll simply say thank you. Thank you to my parents who have believed in and supported me since the day I was born. Thank you to my brother who has challenged me, made me laugh, and loved me unconditionally since the day he was born. Thank you to my boyfriend Erik who has been the light of my life, who can make me smile no matter what, and who is the most intelligent and thoughtful person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you to our two dogs who have given my life even more happiness than I could ever imagine. Thank you to Erik’s parents, brother, and sister who have all become family to me. Thank you to my extended family who, despite being quite large, all seem to know the right times to reach out and keep close with me. Thank you to all of my amazing friends, old and new, who have been the stable backbone I’ve needed even in the most unstable of times. And thank you to everyone who has worked with me, especially Cecily, as she has helped me learn what I am truly passionate about in my life.

It’s times like these when I am grateful for all things, big and small. It’s easy to be caught up in the monotony of life, to forget everything you have been blessed with, and the most important aspect of Thanksgiving is remembering and appreciating all of those wonderful things in your life.

All my love,
