We’ve all been there; sticking to a strict diet that was promised to work and seeing no positive results. It’s incredibly frustrating, time consuming, and can actually lead to a state of depression. Almost every woman and man who has tried a diet has hit this wall, and let me be the first person to tell you that this is normal. In fact, this is incredibly perfect. The fact is that your body and the way that your body processes food is unique to others. This has nothing to do with your height, weight, or previous nutrition regimen. It has everything to do with your ancestry and how your body reacts based on its genetic composition. I could go into all of the scientific data and case studies behind this, but I will spare you.

Year after year, a new diet fad arises and hundreds (if not, thousands) tend to flock to it and see it as “the answer” for their personal weight loss or nutritional benefit. Most are completely frustrated when the diet doesn’t work, and end up feeling so confused that they eventually lose hope and give up. Again, this is normal. Each individual needs a unique nutritional plan, not a diet. Feeling satisfied, healthy, and in shape will only come from following a plan that is customized for your body.
