“What you seek is seeking you”… RUMI
In today’s episode I dive into the topic of jealousy. Envy. Desire.
And the complicated feelings that can go with those feelings.
We’ve all had that tightness in our chest when we see someone who has what we want. Or we want to be happy for our friend who’s found their soulmate, but we’re also a little jealous that they found their person and we’re still looking.
As humans, we seek pleasure, and want to avoid pain.
I am going to ask you a question…..What if envy or jealousy is an awakening?
You might be thinking right now….huh?
But seriously, what if these emotions, can actually work FOR you? What if they are YOUR wakeup call between you and that relationship, job, person, thing you desire?
And as RUMI says, what if watching someone else have it could be PROOF that you CAN have it too – rather than sending you into a despair cycle that it will never happen?
I want to remind you that whatever it is you desire, or is bringing up some jealousy for you….it is for you. And you can have it too.
